Latania Rudolph

​LaTania Rudolph is Wilma's niece (Wilma was her dad's sister). The first time that she ever realized Wilma (family nickname Skeeter) was more than an aunt is when she watched her win the Olympics in 1960. She also remembers how special it was for Wilma to meet with President Kennedy.

​"Wilma was very positive and she always made you feel like you could do anything. There was nothing to hard and you always had to try and what I really liked about her was that she saw people as a person and not a color".
